Q: Can I compete in both the in-person block and also virtually?
A: Yes, you may compete in both your designated in-person block and in the virtual events. Additionally the 5-event limit rule is waived for 2021. See Registration page for more information.

Q: Were any events removed for this new hybrid version? 
A: Yes – track, archery and the sniper competition (Air Rifle and Air Pistol will still take place virtually).

Q: Will I  be required to wear a mask at all times indoors, including during my competitive events?
A: At all NVWG events masks will be mandatory and social distancing will be required. Further COVID precautions for athletic events will be determined prior to each event. New York State (NYS) law currently requires everyone over age 2 who can medically tolerate a face covering to wear one when in public if unable to maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others. 

Q: Are families allowed to attend events?
A: Families can attend but no children under age 17 will be allowed to attend NVWG events or activities.

Q: Is the event still open to the public/spectators?
A: Yes, spectators will be allowed at events until max capacity has been reached per the guidelines. No children under age 17 will be allowed to attend NVWG events or activities.

Q: Will my caregiver be allowed to attend events with me? If so, will they need to be vaccinated?
A: Yes, caregivers will be allowed to attend events. We are not requiring vaccinations for any attendees, but COVID-19 vaccinations are recommended for all participants.
